The Eze Foundation
Financial literacy impacts individuals and families well beyond the money and their households. It impacts wealth, health, longevity and legacy. A study from the TIAA-CREF Institute shows that people with a high degree of financial literacy are more likely to plan for retirement, and that people who plan for retirement have more than double the wealth of people who do not. Lower financial literacy rates are reflected in higher debt, lower borrowing ability, increased rates and fees when they can borrow and less investment. This vicious cycle often continues generation after generation.
The Eze Foundation’s mission is to equip, encourage and inspire personal freedom and financial self-sufficiency for individuals, families and children. Led by a team that is dedicated to helping impact others’ lives, we partner with trusted organizations to deliver programs and services that profoundly reshape financial literacy success and help change lives for generations to come.

We know the power that financial literacy has to transform lives. Financial literacy opens the door to economic self-sufficiency, which has a rippling effect for generations. We are certain about that and are dedicated to serving as many people as we can so they can improve the quality of their lives.
OUR FOUNDER – DOUGLAS EZE
As a young man growing up in Nigeria in west Africa, I saw my dad build a successful business. But without the financial education, he retired and eventually died without a house of his own. As a proud, successful Igbo man, building a house in one’s village or even owning property in the city was a sense of accomplishment. Unfortunately for my father, with all the money he made, he was not financially educated enough to purchase even a single property. He died without leaving his family any sort of wealth or inheritance. This is what has inspired me to help families, individuals and children around the globe by teaching financial education in a way that is simple and helps them experience economic self-sufficiency for generations.
To my friends, supporters and partners, I want to thank you and ask you to join me in changing the world one person, one child and one family at a time. I believe that when an individual is equipped with the financial tools that they need to understand the rules to the money game, it will forever impact their lives.
Not all families are able to afford financial planners, attorneys or certified public accountants. However, they can still use financial education, tools and resources to better their situation. Through the Douglas Eze Foundation, we will be that bridge for them through the services we provide in collaboration with our trusted partners.
Financial literacy and education works. I know that for sure. I am living, breathing proof of how access to information and tools can forever shape
one’s life.
